Sam
Goldstein, Ph.D., is a member of the faculty
of the University of Utah and in private practice
at the Neurology, Learning and Behavior Center in
Salt Lake City, Utah. He is on staff at the Primary
Children's Medical Center and the University Neuropsychiatric
Institute. Dr. Goldstein has lectured nationally
and internationally through diverse audiences, speaking
in Stockholm, England, Brazil and Puerto Rico this
past year, as well as throughout the United States
and Canada.
Dr. Goldstein has served as Chairman of the National
Professional Advisory Board for the organization
Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder.
His publications include ten texts on subjects including
genetics and developmental disorders, depression,
classroom consultation, learning disability and
attention deficit disorder, as well as dozens of
articles, a number of guides, book chapters and
a video series for parents and educators dealing
with childhood problems. Dr. Goldstein's videos
have garnered multiple awards, including the New
York Film Festival.
Dr. Goldstein received his Doctorate in School Psychology
with an emphasis upon Neuropsychology from the University
of Utah. He holds advanced Fellow and Diplomate
status in multiple organizations, including the
American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental
Medicine, the American Board of Pain Management,
the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists and
the American Board of Vocational Neuropsychology.
Dr. Goldstein sits on the Editorial Boards for the
Annals of the American Psychotherapy Association,
Journal of Learning Disabilities, Archives of Clinical
Neuropsychology, Journal of Attention Disorders,
and the ADHD Report.

Robert
Brooks, Ph.D., has lectured nationally and internationally
to audiences of parents, educators, mental health
professionals, and business people on topics pertaining
to motivation, resilience, self-esteem, family relationships,
the qualities of effective leaders and executives,
and balancing our personal and professional lives.
He is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School and
has served as Director of the Department of Psychology
at McLean Hospital.
Dr. Brooks received a Gubernatorial Award for Distinguished
Public Service for his work with the Governor's
Alliance Against, "Hall of Fame" awards
from both CH.A.D.D. (Children and Adults with Attention
Deficit Disorders) and the Connecticut Association
for Children with Learning Disabilities for his
work with special needs children and adolescents,
a Special Recognition and Media Award from the Massachusetts
Psychological Association, and the "Friends
of Families Award" from the Family Place for
his work on behalf of children and families. In
addition, Dr. Brooks has served as a consultant
to Sesame Street Parents Magazine.
Dr. Brooks received his doctorate in clinical psychology
from Clark University and did additional training
at the University of Colorado Medical School. He
completed a videotape and educational guide for
PBS about at-risk students titled, "Look What
Youve Done: Stories of Hope and Resilience."
He has co-authored a book titled A Pediatric Approach
to Learning Disorders (Wiley), and published a number
of articles and book chapters related to self-esteem,
education, resilience, and psychotherapy. Dr. Brooks
has also written a sex education book for the young
child called So That's How I Was Born! published
by Simon & Schuster and is the author of a book
titled The Self-Esteem Teacher published by Treehaus
Communications.

Mike Schneider (Foundation spokesperson),
has spent 25-years reporting the news across the United
States and around the world. In a career that started
during his days as a student at Temple University, Schneider
advanced to the highest ranks of network television,
anchoring the news on ABC's 'Good Morning America,'
and hosting the weekend edition's of NBC's 'Today' program.
Schneider's news assignments have taken him from Moscow
to the Mideast. He covered the fall of communism in
east Europe, Pope John Paul's historic visits to the
U.S., and the 1983 riots in Miami. He literally went
into the eye of the storm to provide live coverage of
hurricanes Hugo and Andrew. Mike Schneider has covered
every presidential campaign since 1976. He served as
moderator of the 1988 presidential debate in New York,
and spent 1996 traveling the country as the national
political correspondent for the ''Fox News' network.
Schneider's reports have appeared on a wide variety
of programs, including ABC's 'Nightline' and '20-20',
and 'Dateline NBC'. He has also subbed for Tom Brokaw
on 'NBC Nightly News', and for Tim Russert on 'Meet
the Press'. Mike Schneider co-hosted with former Surgeon
General Dr. C. Everett Koop on a series of medical programs,
and narrated a CBS production's documentary 'Guns Under
Fire', telecast on the Learning Channel (TLC) in October,
1999. Along the way, Mike Schneider has won several
awards for his work. He received an Emmy for his coverage
of the 1987 stock market crash, and co-anchored ABC's
Emmy-award winning coverage of the Persian Gulf war.
Craig Clyde (media director),
a native of Washington State, has been in television
and film most of his adult life. After a stint as an
English teacher, Clyde began his professional media
career in radio and television. People in Utah remember
him best as the co-host and Producer of PM Magazine
Utah for a number of years.
In addition to his media experience, Clyde
has appeared in over sixty-five major films and national
television programs for all the major networks —
as well as numerous stage roles. Film roles include
the ABC Circle Films production of “Evil in Clear
River,” “Tripwire” for 20th Century
Fox, “The Witching of Ben Wagner” for the
Disney Channel, the In the Line of Duty Series “Siege
At Marion” for NBC, “Stand-off at Alta View”
and “The Mystery of Noah’s Ark” A
co-starring role in ABC television series “Crossroads”
ABC’s “Extreme” “Nothing Lasts
Forever” “It Was Him or Us,” “Touched
By An Angel” “Promised Land” for CBS
“Truth or Consequences N.M.” for director/actor
Keifer Sutherland and was featured in the CBS miniseries
"Perfect Murder, Perfect Town." He is a member
of both Actor’s Equity and the Screen Actor’s
Guild.
Clyde co-formed the film production company,
Majestic Entertainment Inc, a Utah-based film corporation.
He has won the International “Telly” award
five times in the documentary division. The travel documentary
“America the Beautiful,” narrated by Charlton
Heston and written by Clyde, won the Grand Jury Award
at the Houston International Film Festival, The Golden
Camera at the Chicago Industrial Film Festival as well
as another Telly Award. His feature film “Wind
Dancer” was honored with the Silver Award at the
Houston International Film Festival in 1994. The script
“Calico Jack,” won the Gold Award for Best
Children’s Original Screenplay in that competition
as well as the Santa Clarita International Children's
Film Festival. His feature film “Heaven Sent”
won the Gold Award at Houston for the best theatrical
film in the small budget category. Clyde was honored
again with a Gold Award from the Charleston International
Film Festival for “The Steps of Coronado”
an original screenplay. The first time the same screenwriter
has won the gold award two years in a row at the festival.
And this year won the prestigious American Screenwriting
Award Grand Prize for his original screenplay "Nowhere
Man."
Clyde is a director who has written over
two dozen feature motion picture screenplays including
the features which he directed: “Little Heroes,”
“The Legend of Wolf Mountain,” “Wind
Dancer,” “Walking Thunder,” “Heaven
Sent,” “The Long Road Home,” “A
Dog’s Tale.” In the year 2000 alone he completed
three features which he wrote and directed: “Castle
Rock” starring Ernest Borgnine, “No Place
Like Home” starring Judge Reinhold, Joana Pacula,
Adrienne Barbeau and Bruce Weitz and “Dumb Luck”
starring Scott Baio, Tracy Nelson, Hal Linden and Richard
Moll.
Clyde is married and lives with his family
in Salt Lake City.
Karen Frost (development and publicity),
is principal and owner of Frost Media Relations, a public
relations consulting firm, which she founded in 1998.
She is a full time media relations consultant, entrepreneur
and speaker/facilitator for Courage to Give™ workshops
for corporations, schools, and non-profits around the
country. Prior to launching her own agency, Karen was
director of publicity for a national publishing company,
part of the political advertising team for Senator Ted
Kennedy, Congressman Richard Gephardt and former Speaker
of the House, Tom Foley, freelanced for CBS News and
Fox News Service, and managed the pressroom for the
Perot ‘92 campaign in Dallas, Texas. Karen also
worked in Uganda, East Africa for Habitat for Humanity.
Although a Texan at heart, she currently lives in Alexandria,
Virginia, with her long red dog, Hogan.
